I have such fond memories of working with Carmel...her passion towards nursing, people & co-workers taught me what it was to be a Real Nurse (RN). I can't EVER remember seeing her excited or frantic...no matter what the situation or emergency. Her calming, practical approach often calmed even the greenest of people in the room. One always knew that the best that could be done for the patient & family would be done. Carmel taught me so much about why it was so very special to be a nurse. I know that I will miss her greatly, and the medical world has lost a truly special professional! God's deepest blessings to the family & to all who were blessed to know Carmel & call her friend !
